HAMBLYS are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Parts Apprentice to join our busy Parts Department at our Honiton depot.

This is an exciting opportunity to start a career within the agricultural machinery industry, gaining hands-on experience alongside formal apprenticeship training. You’ll learn all aspects of agricultural machinery parts, from identifying and ordering components to serving customers and supporting our workshop and service teams.

Working as part of a friendly and experienced team, you’ll develop your product knowledge, customer service and communication skills while gaining a recognised apprenticeship qualification.

We’re looking for someone who is enthusiastic, reliable and keen to learn, with a genuine interest in agriculture, engineering or machinery. Previous experience isn’t essential – we’re more interested in your attitude, willingness to learn and ability to work as part of a team.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Assisting customers with parts enquiries
• Identifying and ordering agricultural machinery parts
• Receiving, checking and storing incoming goods
• Preparing parts for workshop and customer orders
• Answering incoming calls and assisting with general enquiries
• Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the Parts Department
• Developing your knowledge of agricultural machinery and associated components

The ideal candidate will have:

• A genuine interest in agriculture, machinery or engineering
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Good attention to detail
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Good IT and organisational skills

Full training will be provided both internally and through the apprenticeship programme, making this a great opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in the agricultural machinery industry.
